Diego Soifer

Diego (1981) studied composition in Buenos Aires, obtained a Bachelor Degree with Honour Standing at the University of Toronto, and a Master Degree with the Nicolaïfonds prize at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague, together with special studies in electronic music.

His work shows a distinctive language connected with the classical, romantic and postromantic chamber music tradition, as well as recent tendencies in popular music and electronica.

He is dedicated primarly in The Netherlands to the chamber music repertoire, as well as music-theatre, theatre, modern dance, and different media projects.

He is founder and artistic director of groups dedicated to the jazz and improvisation field, as well as projects mixing film and live chamber music with electronics.
