Notes on this piece
En una cara
This piece is inspired on the historical novel La revolución es un sueño eterno (The revolution is an eternal dream) by the argentinean writer Andrés Rivera. The personal interpretation of the text by the composer is reflected mostly in the internal structure of the parts and in the way it deals with tensions. From a technical point of view, different types of touches are used, among which multiphonic sounds obtained in only one string stand up.This work was dedicated and composed for the argentinean contrabassist Carlos Vega.
