Notes on this piece Sangue Inverso - Inverso Sangue is a piece of large duration divided in parts. The names for each part are inspired in mineral elements. All structural elements, from micro to macro, are based in ideas of symmetry.
Granite is an igneous rock that I associate to my childhood, for being characteristic of the mountain region of Serra da Estrela, Portugal, where I spent a lot of time while a child. The word comes from the Latin “granum”, meaning grain. The typologies of “grain” were created in different degrees trough the piece.
