“Ryutandan” is one of the novels written by the famous Japanese writer Kyoka Izumi from the Meiji period. The story was about a boy who ran into an insect named “Hanmyo” (Japanese tiger beetle) in the azalea hills and got bitten by it. This led him wander into a strange world of illusions. A Japanese playwright commented the similarity of this novel and the current situation in our world, “We’ve entered the same entrance as this main character. We are in the middle of the story right now.”
I hope we can find an exit by the time this piece is played.
