Omen is my second Exile from a serie of two for solo flute. I composed it in the heart of the pandemic in a mixed state of fear, hope, desolation, peace, doubts, certainties, isolation and ecstasy, like probably many of us.
The piece was comissioned by Midt i Marts Festival and is dedicated to Katrin Szamatulski. I thank them both for give me the occasion to keep my mind focused in a beautiful project in those strange times.
