written for the 40th birthday of the ensemble modern – dedicated to the founder of the ensemble, Hans Zender, and his ideas about 72 tone microtonality
This piece was composed in CORONA times especially for the ensemble and premiered 2020 in the version for flute by the ensemble modern with Dietmar Wiesner as flutist, without audience in Frankfurt. The piece makes use of a special intonation, close to difference tone chords, in a resolution of 33 cents.
