In the Vestige of the Present

The work is composed as a potentially infinite loop of relatively complex musical events, which are constantly in feedback with themselves, on the one hand, through their immediate perception in the present time and, on the other hand, through the vestige left in memory when they have transpired. The intrinsic conflict among the factual and its short or long-term memory vestige results into perpetual transformations, transfigurations but also distortions, corruptions of the factual and, ultimately, in a movement of vestiges and shadows which emerge and perish immediately in a tragic dance of impermanence.
