General instructions
This piece can be performed on a tenor or bass trombone. The trombone needs an f-valve that is to be open throughout the piece.
A medium-hard plastic bassoon reed is also needed. In the second half of the piece, the reed is put inside the trombone mouthpiece.
The improvisatory nature of the piece also encourages some degree of ornamentational elements even in the more clearly written out passa-
ges. When adding ornamentation, the player should however not deviate from the written techniques and order of techniques too greatly.
Thoughts on timing and rhythm
All rhythms and note lengths are relative and relatively dependent on the other note values the player chooses to express within the closest
section and phrase. A 16th note can have one value on page one but another value on page two. It all depends on what intensity the player is
choosing to move forward with.
This piece is written to last approximately 10 - 18 minutes.
