Notes on this piece The piece “A.M.” was written for my father, so this title stands for his initials. It is a very personal work that shows some of the techniques that I have been working in previous years but in a very improvisatorial way. In fact, there are 2 sections where the players are called to improvise on graphical notation. The piece is a struggle between the improvisations and the written material, which creates the tension of this work.
