The title of this work refers to Rubik's Cube, a three-dimensional puzzle involving alignment of colored squares. The cube has here been abstractly flattened and stretched out into marimba and celesta keyboards. The color combinations correspond to intervallic "colors," and interact according to personal aesthetic algorithms. Unlike the puzzle, my intent favors polychromaticism.
