Jackpot! was commisioned by Ciclo de Conciertos de Música Contemporánea, Buenos Aires 2009.
It was inspired by the fragmented sounds produced by pinball machines and Casino slot machines.
The piece, in a single continuous motion, is a "macrospiral" which includes seven loops or spires. Each of these loops is formed by four clearly differentiated events.
