“The Wind experiences what it Will make of its freedom”. I allowed myself to be guided by this suggestive Hai-Kai of Guimarães Rosa during the compositional process. I started to conceive the music not only with the materials initially defined, but, above all, with freedom to incorporate the structures that I began to discover during the composition. There is in this process a constant need for interpreting and hearing the materials since I believe that there is an intrinsic natural force in them and one of the roles of the composer is to reveal exactly this.
