The material of the piece is extremely limited, regarding the pitches which integrate the composition: the whole piece orbits around a four-note chromatic cluster. The purpose of this limitation is to focus the attention of the listener not in the pitches, but in the subtle timbral and micro-intervallic changes which the sounds undergo during the piece.
