A dance, a reciprocation. The core of the work studies in intimacy II (the deep mirror) is not the one large, but rather the many small gestures that result in a larger one. These are laid out as reflections on various formal levels and in this way are ontologically interwoven to a certain extent. Nevertheless, violin and guitar never lose their sonic independence, each of the two carefully branching lines is stringent in itself and for itself, or at least not dependent on the constant presence of the other. Nonetheless, the connection of both tonal levels forms a third, a new space, a sphere of intimate synergy, and a previously unknown facet can emerge. This is only in further reference the intimacy of a romantic relationship, but mainly an inquiry about those moments in life in which life and death seem to cluster together as a minimal point and notions of an end and or a beginning becomes indistinguishable. Where we really feel the weight of things, where we see that our existence can only be understood as a kaleidoscope of all possible existences.
