Notes on this piece The piece Sangue Inverso - Inverso Sangue is divided into parts. The names of each part are inspired by mineral elements. All structural elements, from micro to macro, are based on ideas of symmetry and exploration of musical ideas about time. Schist is an organized metamorphic rock often organized in granular laminar textures, which I associate with my childhood and youth, as it is characteristic of the great region of Serra da Estrela, where I spent a lot of time and where I read and reread “The Invisible Cities", by Italo Calvino. In my roots, I felt like an explorer in the vastness of the territory, finding in the villages with shale houses the opportunity to trigger the narrative seed about those places. The analogy with Calvino's work is inherent in my relationship with those spaces that were close to me, that I felt like mine, but whose imo was to be probed in its symbolisms, maneuverability of the cut of the stone, tactile and visual textures, social organizations, sense of community, went, and that I tried to explore in the textural sensations of those rocks that were much more than landscape, that were interior life and structural element of the place.
