Tres Epigramas

The first two pieces that integrate the work, “Elegy and Message” (Elegía y Mensaje), have musical motifs that are processed and transformed into one and the other.While these pieces are essentially lyrical in character, actions appear, breaking into the music, in contrast to this spirit. The third piece, "Pantoum", is built on eight different musical activities in his character, that turn out to be transformed into recurrent form, imitating the formal poetical model of the Malay "pantoum".In this poetical form the second and fourth verse of each quatrain happen to be the first and third of the following one.In this piece the different musical actions replace the verses, and do their appearance in the manner of the form "Pantoum".Three epigrams was released in the cycle of the 2009 concerts of SADAIC (Argentine Company of authors and composers) by Federico Landaburu in clarinet and Irene Amerio in piano.
