Notes on this piece The inspiration for the composition comes from what are known as the final seven sentences that Christ uttered during his crucifixion. That is the reason for its division into seven parts: Solitude, Compassion, Tenderness, Pain, Lamentation, Sacrifice, Resurrection. My intention is not any kind of description, but contemplating the individual pronouncements of the Word.
