Immune

Written in August and September 2004, the work is inspired by the lyrics of Eddie Vedder in the song “Indifference”, and closely related to my previous work, « Fictif ». “I will swallow poison, until I grow immune” sings Vedder, and the piece takes this image to create extreme situations using noise, highly dense passages, but also moments of absolute immobility, like a body that is no longer affected by its surroundings, or even by its prior suffering.
