The immanent is something “inherent in some being or [that] is inseparably linked to its essence.” Applying it to music, with this work I looked for rediscover the immanence of the cello and expand my idea of the instrument at that time. Chance made its conception coincide with several recent losses of loved ones, experiences of “transit” that have also made me subject the concept to a temporary reflection on change, the only one permanent.
