Prayer
As the third movement of the cello symphony The Art of Imaginal Listening. Bataille’s text is renounced, the chorus reduced to syllables. For women’s chorus and orchestra. (Clarence Center, N.Y. 2014).
Lost Prayer
Since the text cannot be revealed, the Prayer is lost. The choral element is renounced completely. For string orchestra or string quintet. (Clarence Center, N.Y. 2016).

Expanding on all the possible choral and instrumental timbres, the cycle continues for wind instruments. For concert wind band. (Columbus, OH. 2019).
