Prisms alludes to a compositional process in which two overlapped centralities are used as harmonic material. In the musical development of the piece, the greatest possible number of combinations between the sets of the two centralities is attempted, thus decomposing in some way the superposed harmonic elements, and obtaining as an artistic result the musical work, of a very agitated character and great technical demand for the soloist.
