Winding is one of the prominent natural phenomena taking place in many forms; for example, in science this ranges from the macroscopic planets curving around star to the classical motion of electrons scattering around nucleus. In mathematics, winding takes place in different configurations including closed and open curves around a given point. The music initiates with pitch F while gradually unfolding with pitches’ additions alongside interweaving with rhythmic transformations. Upon the music approaches the end, pitch F is reiterated for bringing a sense of enclosure analogous to the completion of winding motion. In the piece minimalistic technique is employed and although brevity is the main feature just like the instrument toy piano, interplaying of different rhythmic gestures in two layers is crucial.
