Samaya

The title is a combination of 3 words from the Indian phylosophy: sama means quiet, meditation, maya means illusion and samaya  means immutable time, obsession of  rhythmical pulsations . A pedal of non-symmetrical pulsasions is wandering in the whole work, in different registers .The form is a circular one; during the meditative sections I’ve tried to realise some layers with different colours (muffled sounds, “gongs”, fast gliss along the string, “birds”…), suggesting an archaic world.
