This work is part of a triptych inspired by the poem ‘but the other’ written by e.e. Cummings, which is completed by the pieces ‘a reminiscence partaken’ written for Input Duo and ‘unchangingly the always’ written for the Collective lovemusic. It sets up a system of dualities in several parameters of sound, notably in the contrast and porosity between the acoustic and electronic fields. The narrative is based on echoes of the construction, deconstruction and reconstruction of materials.
