Notes on this piece A comission from the Fundação Clóvis Salgado, The Circumwanderers was written to a libretto by Luiz Eduardo Frin freely inspired by Fernando Sabino's novel O Grande Mentecapto. It was premiered by tenors Giovanni Tristacci, Flavio Leite and Ramon Mundin and by the Minas Gerais Symphony Orchestra conducted by Gabriel Schirato, with stage director Rita Clemente, at the Palácio das Artes (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) in November 21st, 2021.
