The piece starts presenting “The Dark Age”, with a Solo Bass Saxophone (like a king walks in his kingdom). Afterwards we find a young soloist with a Soprano Saxophone playing a very fresh, very simple music, presenting his simple dream, what “The Dark Age” believes is ridiculous. “A Hope in The Dark Age” is about the conflict of generations, the fight of a fresh dream of the young generation what can’t survive in the presence of -what I call- “the dark age”.
