There are emergency siren tests in the Czech Republic. They are performed for 140 sec. every first Wednesday of each month around the noon. This composition is originally intended to be performed during such sound-event in the St. Salvator Church in the St. Agnes Monastery – an open public space in the exposition of the National Gallery in Prague. However it can be performed in any long reverberating space (preferably church) featuring prerecorded siren; or without siren completely.
Trombone player should sing in barytone register at the end of the piece. Ossia: barytone singer is staying remotely – at the entrance opposite to performers.
