"Nozarashi" is a stele dedicated to the victims of the Fukushima nuclear accident. Nozarashi could be translated as "vulnerable", or "in the open", and the wind, as Basho -the ancient Japanese Poet- said, pierce the heart so that one can perhaps feel through the cold, through the inside-outside: “Nozarashi wo kokoro ni kaze no shimu mi kana” A fragment of this haiku is presented together with fragments of victim’s testimonies. "Nozarashi" was commissioned by the CNDM and was premiered by Kea vocal ensemble, directed by Enrique Azurza in Madrid, Auditorium 400 (Museo Reina Sofía) in January 2012.
