faits saillants

I wrote "faits saillants" to be the composition for solo cello in a suite of six pieces for solo instrument and four channel tape. This suite is part of a larger suite where I compose for differents formations. The electroacoustic part are always concieved to be the instruments "shadow". In the case of the pieces for solo instrument and tape though, the tape must take a more important role than being the mere background for the cello line. Even so, it is always the cello showing the direction that the tape will then follow.
