Sensibel ist die erde

This short cycle of five Lieder was written on Reiner Kunze's poems. It gets organized around the dialogue of shadow and light and the link between man and nature. I realized three years later an instrumental version of these Lieder, exploiting the possibilities of the violin and looking for an instrumental music written from a vocal one, arisen from the text : the question of the autonomy of the musical speech with regard to its source of inspiration so raises itself.
This work is friendly dedicated to Pierre-Olivier Queyras and Thomas Costille, which assured the creation on August 9th, 2015 within the festival 1000sources and Dordogne.
