PERFORMANCE NOTES

As a teenager living in Sardinia I spent countless summer nights outside in the balcony watching the moon, listening to music, and dreaming about the future. I had not thought about these nights in years, but vivid memories of them resurfaced suddenly when I started writing this piece, inspiring me to write three short poems.

Late summertime

before
a mellow

moon dreams at the perfect voice

A great, calm chaconne listens

III.
Smiling rain plucks, do not stop
