Folding and Unfolding

The piece is inspired by the minimalist paper folding with unfolding artworks and the kaleidoscopic micropatterns of crease lines under folding are mesmerizing and captivating despite the inherent regularity and simplicity of the repeated patterns. The music is characterized by the incessant kinetic flow of different rhythmic configurations which undergo substantial transformations in terms of rhythm and pitch within a short time span, and extreme register is explored by employing natural harmonics and the music fades out unnoticeably at the end.
