An attempt to dive into the poetic world of the austrian author Joseph Roth by musical means - the emotional and structural nucleus of the pieces is one sentence out of Joseph Roth's novel "Der blinde Spiegel" (1925):
"...einer fremden, niegekannten süßen Ohnmacht gab sie sich willig hin, wie einer Melodie..."
("…she eagerly surrendered to a never-known sweet faint, like to a melody…")
This composition is dedicated to Stefan Hülsermann.
