This piece is just a simple and respectful homage to Olivier Messiaen without attempting in any way to match it. It's just a humble brushwork referring to one of his greatest works, the "Quartet for the End of Time" in which are used some of the techniques employed in that quartet by Messiaen, mainly
modes of limited transposition. Evoking the clouds, I cannot stop thinking about gas particle behaviour inside; musically it's easy to associate a certain minimalism. As rhythms, movements are micro rhythms particles due to the collision between the joints of instruments, each one with its independent rhythmic group. Furthermore, the intervallic movement of notes also evokes behaviour of the particles in space within a gas, water vapour or tiny drops in clouds forming. Also the Brownian movements are applied to define the amount of chaos of random processes, directing them in tendency curves, thus providing paths of controlled chaos. All this trying to get closer to the dream of Debussy and Messiaen...! To evoke the processes of nature
