Notes on this piece Hobo Dance is an experiment. In the 1st part it takes my harp solopiece "Diamantenpracht" as starting point, in the 2nd part my piece for harp and synthesizer "Partch Harp". The saxophone gives much emphasis on melodies and adds energy and presence. So far, nobody tested this piece.
The title refers to the part-time "hobo" Harry Partch, who invented his "tonality diamond" of justly intoned music with home-made instruments, ever dancing in mind. He wanted to get away from concert music and find back to a music for everyone. This was his dream, what is my dream?
