From Amen to Amen

Commissioned by Swedish Concert Institute for Axelsson & Nilsson Duo. In this piece, I try to make two instruments that are very different in nature come to an ever-concordant relationship. They always follow each other’s steps, complement mutually and sometimes weave together. Nevertheless, the piece itself is made of dramatic changes and it manifests clear contrast between different parts.
