Omofu

omofu [fu as an archaic Japanese] is a Japanese verb which is variously interpreted as, to recollect, to retrace, to recall, or to yearn. In Japanese, the word is distinguished from other homophones of omou (??, ??, ??) and it is more regarded as with “distant past” in one's mind. While writing this composition, my sincere respect to Japanese culture, tradition, appreciation to my ancestors, and awe to nature and kami (gods in Shintoism), were being deeply conscious of in my mind, and now I complete this piece as a dedication to them.
