Lines of sound and melodic figures emerge from and return to silence in a slow and meditative dance. Multiphonics and other playing techniques enhance the characteristic sound and expressiveness of the traverso, calling for a virtuosity of fragile and delicate tenderness.
beyond you, glowing waves of light was composed between August 2019 and September 2020 and revised in November 2023. It is dedicated to my friend Marc-Antoine Houën.
