Descripción The piece was composed in 2018 after as a result of sustained collaborations with Chilean clarinettist Álvaro Zegers. Many of the materials shaping the piece came from his valuable suggestions and direct contributions that Álvaro made after several improvisations guided by musical ideas released by me. The foundational material of the piece was a mere draft that illustrated those musical ideas, as well as a formal intention. Although the original recording of this 'guided improvisation' was lost in the 'virtual world', most of the elements of the piece were reconstructed throughout new (online) meetings held with Álvaro where we were able to recall every single element to make a definitive version then. The character of the piece is rather contemplative from the beginning. However, it turns to be more turbulent at the end, as a consequence of multiple tensions emerging from the extreme physicality that occurs in the performer/instrument relationship.
