Descripción
Concecutio Temporum
I wrote this piece as a result of an exposure to the heated debates between the advocates of modernism and post-modernism. The piece tries to unravel the connotations hidden in the category of the “modern”. Following from Adorno’s discussions, I tried to investigate the meaning of modernity today. What can be the implications of treating the “modern” not as a chronological category that is long past but as a qualitative category which may still have some political and ethical repercussions.
