Shadow Sound
SHADOW SOUND for violin solo was composed in 2014. It’s a piece integrating different violin techniques I have developed throughout the last ten years. The piece takes on the form of a modern caprice in the long line of virtuosic pieces for this instrument. Shadow Sound creates sound fluctuations on the instrument by using various bowing techniques and microtonal intervals on double stops / chords with multi microtonal tonal fluctuations.
