Difracción

This piece is composed mainly of two music materials, while the ensemble presents a matter that arises from unison that is fragmented, or rather, is diffracted in multiple lines of a vast polyphonic affluence moreover in contrast with the material of the soprano, consisting in a small amount of very long notes that are profusely ornamented with microtonality, this we can make a first impression of being just a note remaining static. The texts used in this piece are lines extracted from two poems, the first one belongs to Benjamin Valdivia and says, To Live own view, in the city withers. The second is of authorship of Octavio Paz. I will speak a language of blood, respond with a tower of birds. Diffraction earned honorable mention at International Composition Competition Alea III.
