Written between January and February 2008, based on a text by Elpis Tzortzi, the piece deals with a woman that has trouble getting out of an abusive relationship with an alcoholic partner. This incapacity to move forward is the main idea of the music that, even if it sometimes gives the impression of moving towards something different, always comes back to its starting point, although changed every time.?Commissioned by the ZKM, Karlsruhe
