ESPACE SCULPTÉ is a cycle composed of four different pieces for Soprano and Piano, Soprano, Guitar, Violin and Cello, Soprano, Violin, Guitar and Tape and Soprano, Clarinet in B, Trumpet in B, Violin and Violoncello. The cycle was inspired by the sculptures of the famous artist Alexander Archipenko. Each piece represents one of his sculptures, which mostly show women in different positions. The texts for the soprano are from Alexandre Appolinaire and describe the sculptures of Archipenko and the reception of his work during his lifetime.
