The Contrast is the main material in “Cuando”, which was used in the dance called cuando , this dance was most popular in the argentine’s salons in the century XIX and which alternated between minué and a picaresque and popular dance.
The contrast appears in the texture, in the register, in the density, in the dynamics, in the melodic drawing, etc. This is more, in this piece the contrast is in the microform and in the macroform but in the century XIX's dance only appears in the macroform.
