Entelequias is a piece that consists of apparently distant elements that, after experimenting some intrinsic and contextual transformations, reveal themselves as close relatives that coexist in the succession as well as in the simultaneous. Entelequias is then the question for being, that is, are those elements, once being transformed some of their fundamental qualities, still recognizable? Do they still preserve some kind of aura, of essence that survives mutations, and that makes them preserve their identity? What is the nature, what is the essence of a musical material, what defines it and differentiates it from others? The composer tries in this work answers that question any essentialism, suspecting the possibility of obtaining unequivocal answers, to point out the ambiguous and complex nature that those questions entail; giving rise to a work that rejects the concept of "synthesis", which transits paths close to the metaphor of the kaleidoscope, where the apparent unity of the real is perceived atomized, only unified by the action of the observer.
