The piece, dedicated to the talented flutist Antonella F. Bini, is organized in sections and it's about Ariel, the spirit who appears in William Shakespeare's play «The Tempest». Ariel is "another's eyes and ears" using his magical abilities to cause the tempest and to foil other characters' plots. The word «Cosmos» implies a complex system in which Ariel takes actions.
