Talking about music without associating the act of listening with psychological states is a phenomenon which, for me, does not exist.
Sete cartas - in fact seven letters about love - addresses the subject of the unexplainable aspects of amorous relationships and the inconclusive feelings generated by the passion and emotiveness of the amorous relationship.
Each letter is in itself a feeling, a sensation, a state. Each letter is a timeless and immeasurable reminiscence of words, images, anamneses, expressions....
The texts used in this set of pieces come from the oneiric readings and interpretations by my friend Achim Heidereich of the marvelous texts from the book of Solomon and from Boccacio's The Decameron. Each piece encapsulates its own expressivity, based on a dramaturgy of phonetic meanings. The phonemes originate from memories, experiences, usually represented by feelings which cannot be translated, associated with words or idiomatic expressions from the mother tongue of my two daughters...
