JEANNE ET MAX is a piece for 2 flute players (C, piccolo and bass or contralto) written in 2017 and revised in 2020. Premiered by Argentine flute duo MEI in Córdoba, Argentina in 2018.

One morphology is constructed by 2 instruments that elaborate behaviors which articulate to conform a living mechanism of fast and sudden responses and reactions, changes of color, speeds, intensities and spectrae.

Nothing is ever steady however a sense of permanence and stasis flows in the air. Like a mysterious presence coming for a fleeting visit.
