Around 2000, I improvised some "songs" on my Disklavier. These piano songs without voice should have a simple cut, without great demands, easier to listen to, intended for my mother, who liked to hear my music. But she was often irritated by the strange microtones and rhythms. I then wrote down two of these improvisations and called them "Partota 7" and "Partota 10" in the order of my keyboard-related pieces. The latter was also played by Tanja Noters, to whom I dedicated Partota 10.
The idea is to fly over the musical text. The detailed rhythms should ultimately be completely forgotten, so that a jazzy flowing, metrically rather soft image is created. The accent notation should be interpreted "softly": Accents are relatively stronger notes, to be interpreted out of context. But there are also occasional notes that could be emphasized, again out of context. Large lines should be realized.
